Problem with several of the Calendar Setting pages (Tasks, Day Titles, Monthly Calendar and Mail) showing no controls on devices with square screens fixed.
PocketBreeze installer code updated and optimized. Now also includes options to subscribe to SBSH newsletter and read more details about SBSH applications at the end of the installation process.
PocketBreeze PC installer code cleaned a lot to avoid leaving PocketBreeze installation CAB files and a few additional files on the PC when the installation process is finished.
PocketBreeze sample category icons installation package is now part of PocketBreeze base CAB installation to avoid the need to install two separate CAB files for the category icons and this way also allowing users who download the OTA version to have the category icons installed on their device too without having to download an additional file.
Problem with PNG skins processing causing dark background on the sides of the PNG images in some situations fixed.
New option added to hide the all-day even icon from all day appointments.

Problem when opening the sort popup menu through the Messages tab context menu not showing a check for the currently selected sort item, selected sort-direction check and selected show-parameters fixed. The sort popup menu for the Messages tab will now display check state for the currently selected configuration in a similar way to the popup menu showing when clicked through the Messages tab top-bar button.
Messages tab popup menu now properly displays the selected sort order as the caption of the popup Messages tab sort popup menu.

New "Gesture animation" option added in "PB Options -> Tabs" general settings section. Allowing to choose the gesture animation effect that will be used for tab switching gestures. Currently options available are for: Disabled and Slides effect
Display problem with PocketBreeze logo during installation dialog fixed.
Option to choose Messages tab counters value between Unread count or Items count replaced with a simple checkbox to set whether to include counters on the Messages tab. Messages tab counters will now display the number of items on each grouping title based on the "Show/Hide read" messages new option status currently used.

Problem with Treo SMS messages from the Saved folder showing as unread messages on the inbox folder fixed.

SMS Treo loading code optimized to load all information properly in all message data situations. SMS Treo message items now also load the unread/read state for each message.
Treo SMS messages are now loaded within the same SMS grouping title without creating a second "Text messages" grouping title that was different from the SMS grouping title for items on devices without Treo SMS messages.
Problem with Treo SMS items date/time not using the correct time zone fixed.
Treo SMS message items changes are now tracked properly. New messages will automatically display without having to force a display change.
Problem when creating new items using PI8 setting up a default subjcte to "No subject" requiring users to manually delete the subject each time when creating a new item appointment or task fixed.

Ver 5.4.01 Beta 2, 02/09/2008

PocketBreeze now properly reads Palm Treo threaded SMS messages and display them within the Messages tab.
Clicking the Palm Treo SMS grouping title "Create Message" menu command will create a new SMS item using the Treo threaded SMS application.
Clicking Open Messages on Palm Treo devices will open the Palm Threaded SMS application instead of the default Inbox application.
When opening an SMS item on a Treo device the Message Preview Window caption bar buttons will display buttons for: Close, Preview, Reply and Dial, which are the available options for Treo Threaded SMS application.
Reply option for Treo SMS messages added. Reply button added on the Message Preview window when viewing a Treo SMS message.
Treo SMS messages context menu adjusted to include only options available for Treo SMS messages.
Clicking the hardware OK button on the Message Preview window will close the window too, this in addition to hitting the D-Pad action button on the X button.

Problem with context menu items on the Notes tab not operating fixed.

Compatibility with the new Pocket Informant 8 category colors implemented. Backwards compatibility for PI7 and older users implemented too.
New "Default appt reminder" and "Default task reminder" options added within the PIM General Options section, these options are active only when Pocket Outlook is the selected PIM application. Using the two new options users can choose what will be the default reminder value when creating a new appointment or a new task through PocketBreeze when using Pocket Outlook.
When PI is the selected PIM, PocketBreeze will automatically adopt the default task and appointments reminder time when creating a new task or appointment from PocketBreeze, based on the setting value within Pocket Informant. Support only for PI8 or higher.

Problem with wrong transparent color calculation for the scroll-bar graphics as part of the backwards compatibility fixed.
Rare problem with wrong initialization of filters list when the filters list file is missing causing the filters to be re-structured in the wrong order fixed.
Problem with popup monthly preview pane "flashing" in some cases when switching between dates content fixed.
Problem when entering the "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog for appointment items using the D-Pad causing the popup monthly calendar date-picker to open up automatically too fixed.
Clicking the "Go To Today" button on the popup monthly calendar will now highlight today's date when using complete D-Pads navigation. Similar calculation was added when moving backwards/forward between months - keeping a date selection in all cases making it much easier to navigate through dates.
Problem with note icon showing for items that doesn't include a note field when syncing the device with Outlook 2007 over Exchange server fixed too.
Clicking the hardware OK button, if exists on the device, will now also close the "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog properly for both appointments and tasks.

Ver 5.4 Beta 5, 11/26/2007

More PNG loading and painting code optimization and a few important bug fixes. Problem with scroll-bar center section not painting properly also fixed.
Clicking on a weather icon within PocketBreeze will now open PocketWeather WeatherConsole with the Forecast display opened and using the location defined as the home location within PocketWeather options which is also visible on PocketBreeze.
Problem when exiting PB Options when having a special date span loaded on the Calendar tab previously keeping the previous special date span in a semi-loaded state fixed. When exiting PB Options, PB will now always revert back to the default date span display.
Monthly calendar handling logic improved with a more optimized solution and better memory management.
Problem when creating a new task or appointment from the popup monthly calendar not setting the D-Pad focus back to the Today screen after adding the new item fixed.
Clicking the hardware OK button on the popup monthly calendar will now close it.
Problem with D-Pad focus lost when opening a message for preview using the Message preview window on the Messages tab fixed.
Clicking D-Pad up/down buttons will scroll through the Note preview window content.
When completing an appointment using PocketBreeze it will now automatically remove the reminder from that appointment item.

Problem with File-as menu on the Contacts tab showing weird box signs in some cases when opened fixed.
Problem when using vertical tabs switching from the last tab to the first in ring style navigation fixed. Ring navigation between tabs will only be active when using horizontal tabs mode since it vertical tabs mode this will limit the ability to move to the previous/following Today screen plugins on the Today screen.
Problem with slow loading of special date span related to the weather information when loading custom date span or removing a custom date span fixed.
General Advanced option to optimize PocketBreeze display when using Real VGA mode on VGA devices is now automatically removed from the settings on QVGA devices to simplify the Options display only with relevant settings and prevent users confusing when activating this option on QVGA devices by mistake.
General Advanced option to use thin-lines on VGA devices is now automatically removed on QVGA devices where it has no effect at all.
Categories/Filters menu re-designed completely and will now display only the last 8 recent used categories or filters. All other available categories and filters for selection will be included in two separate popup menus at the end of the menu.
The new Categories/Filters menu now includes both categories and filters together without having to choose to view either categories or either filters alone anymore.
Option to use or not use advanced filters removed since they are now always active too along with regular categories. General Category settings tab was also removed since there were no additional options in this section.

Ver 5.4 Beta 4, 11/17/2007

Problem opening the day grouping titles context menu in some cases fixed.
Problem with slow loading when using the weather information under certain configuration setup fixed.
Problem with number of days to display setting decreasing by one each time entering the Calendar options section fixed.
Popup monthly calendar preview pane will now display only start time in all cases regardless to the currently selected layout on the Calendar tab to ensure better preview of the items content.
Problem with slower loading of information on the popup monthly calendar when including weather information fixed.
Task completion/activation menu item moved after the Open task menu item on the tasks context menu for better usability.
New version strings added to all other translations so they can also be used with the new version safely.

Important improvements with the png loading code, shared code for png loading removed from both 2003 and WM5/6 versions with a much smaller and more optimized solution. Additional related bugs and code optimizations also implemented.
Small optimizations on the loading of the default skin when using the default skin with PocketBreeze.
Problem with new png-based skins not showing all of the skin graphics fixed. Skin components should now be all png files for simplicity and best optimized code usage. Skin tutorial will be updates as part of the new version release.

Ver 5.4 Beta 3, 11/15/2007

New optimized png loading method implemented on WM5/6 devices.
Problem with parts of the skin files not loading properly due to the new png support addition fixed.
The weather information display within PocketBreeze will update automatically when updating the home city weather information is updated within PocketWeather
When installing PocketWeather for the first time on the device which also includes PocketBreeze, PocketBreeze will automatically display the weather ifnormation on the Calendar tab once the weather information is updated for the first time.
Clicking the weather icon within PocketBreeze will open the WeatherConsole if configured to do so within the new Calendar Weather options section.
Problem with number of days to display resetting to 7 days when tweaking the registry value to more than 30 days fixed.

Ver 5.4 Beta 2, 11/07/2007

All of PocketBreeze resources converted to PNG files for much smaller footprint.
PocketBreeze skins will now support either PNG or TGA skin files. Older skins using BMP images with BMP mask images are no longer supported for code optimization.
New PocketWeather 2.0 integration with PocketBreeze added, will display weather icons on Calendar tab grouping titles for each day with available weather information. Weather information will be displayed for the Home location as defined within PocketWeather.
Properly hide iLauncher floating tabs when changing PB tab.
Large internal code change in the way that windows are handled and managed in the memory within the PB Options section for a more optimized code.
New Weather settings tab added inside the Calendar settings section. Allowing to configure the integration between PocketBreeze and PocketWeather on the Calendar tab.
Using the new Weather settings tab choose weather information layout between: Disabled, Icons only, Icons and temperature values.

Problem with new "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog for appointments positioned too high on the screen when activated fixed.
Problem with color selection picker tab causing all buttons to paint using black color fixed.
Problem when creating a new task from PocketBreeze when using Agenda Fusion as the default PIM using the wrong base-day for the recurring series tab within the new item dialog in Agenda Fusion is now fixed.
Calendar Tab General Options section re-designed to match the new options structure and design used with other new setting pages.
"Empty grouping titles behavior" option removed from the Calendar tab General options section and replaced with two new checkbox options: "Hide empty grouping titles" and "Hide empty grouping titles item".
Checking the new "Hide empty grouping titles item" option will remove the "No Available Item" added to grouping titles without items on the Calendar tab. This new option is designed to replace the previous "Auto-collapse" option which was too complex and causing several behavior confusions. With this option checked grouping titles without items will display only the grouping title, completely regardless to the grouping titles collapse state.
The new "Hide empty grouping titles item" option checkbox will be enabled only when the option "Hide empty grouping titles" is unchecked to simplify the options interface for users.
"Time Format" option removed from the General Calendar options section. PocketBreeze will automatically use the time format as defined on the device regional settings.
Newly created appointments, tasks or contacts that are created when using the default PIM and their creation was canceled (without changing any of the new item details), will be automatically removed.
Newly created appointments will be assigned with a default hour starting from the upcoming new round hour with one hour length when created on today's date.
New "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog added for task items on both the Calendar and Tasks tab. The new "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog also allows to view and control tasks' completion date for completed tasks, this way allowing to setup a different completion date for tasks that were already completed on a certain date.
New "Edit Task" context menu option added on the tasks context menu.
New "Preview Note" option added on the tasks context menu for tasks including a note. Clicking the option will open PocketBreeze note preview window.
"Create Copy" and "Beam Task" options moved inside the Tools popup menu. Open Calendar option removed from context menu for tasks.
Clicking the D-Pad action button on the "Start Date", "Due Date", "Completion Date" or "Reminder date" date picker controls on the new tasks "Reschedule and Reminder" dialog open the popup monthly calendar for date selection instead of using the default OS date picker.
Problem with D-Pad not returning back to the Today screen after deleting an item fixed.
Problem when using option "Sort tasks by reminder" not placing tasks on the reminder date when the reminder date is different from the due date fixed. When the option is active tasks including a reminder will be placed in the correct grouping title based on their reminder date.
Support for recurring appointments vs. single instance editing in recurring appointments added to the new Reschedule & Reminder dialog for appointments.

Set Appointment Reminder dialog re-coded from the beginning with optimized and improved memory management that will help improve overall memory management. OK button added on the dialog top bar allowing to close the dialog using the OK button on devices where such button is available.
Choosing the reschedule menu option on the Calendar tab will now open a new advanced dialog allowing to completely control the appointment start/end date/time, all-day state and reminder details for the appointment instead of the previous option that only allowed to change the appointment date.
Context menu associated with appointments re-design and structured to offer more powerful control using D-Pad navigation.
New "Edit Appointment" option added on the appointments context menu, allowing to easily open an appointment item for editing using the D-Pad navigation only.

When creating a new task on the tasks tab while the tasks tab is grouped by category the newly created task will be created with the selected grouping title category pre-selected by default also when using PI as the selected PIM.
When creating a new task or appointment when there is a specific category-filter selected on PocketBreeze, the newly created item will be created with the current selected category filter pre-selected also when using PI as the selected PIM.
Problem when creating a new task item on the "No Category" grouping title creating the new task with a pre-define category called "No Category" instead of setting the new item without any categories at all fixed.
When creating a new contact item on the Contacts tab when a category filter is selected or by clicking a category grouping title the newly created contact will be assigned with the selected category automatically.
When creating a new contact item on the Special Events tab the newly created item will be automatically assigned with the currently active category filter if such exists.
When creating a new contact on the Contacts tab while using Company grouping the contact will be created with the selected company grouping title pre-defined for this contact automatically.
Chinese, Czech, Dutch, Greek and Italian resource files updated to include the new version strings too.
New menu option added to show/hide MyList list items progress bar directly from the PocketBreeze Notes tab.
MyList items progress bar color selection for painting improved. Will now display properly the progress value for all different selecetd theme files.
Grouping titles collapse/expanded state is now preserved when resetting the device or reloading PocketBreeze on all tabs and state is stored separatley for each grouping/sort type on the different tabs.
Upon a date change the grouping collapse/expanded state is shifted based on the day position compared to todays's date on the Calendar tab. Therefore if today's grouping is expanded, the following day grouping title will also automatically expand once moving to the following day.

New check added when adding a new notes folder for scanning to verify that the added folder doesn't already exists in the list of scanned folders to prevent the same folder to be scanned multiple times.
Problem with new English translation file not selected by default when installing the new version on top of the previous version for 2003 devices and WM5 devices not selecting the English translation file as the default translation for the installation fixed.
Search panel button captions text color will now be inverted when a button is highlighted so that the button caption will be visible.
List items with active progress bar will now have the progress bar painted instead of appending the percentage value for that list.

Problem with "Expand All" option showing the correct caption of the current selected grouping instead on the Notes tab context menu fixed.
When performing a search on the Contacts tab or Notes tab the grouping titles will automatically expand to make sure that the searched items are visible.
Note folder selection option settings section re-designed. Will now offer a list of folders for scanning and ability to add/remove folders using Add/Remove folder buttons.
New note scanning procedure implemented based on the new Note Folder options implementation.
PocketBreeze installation will automatically register all the My Documents folder including all one-level sub-folders and folders for note scanning by default. The user can then customize this selection from the new Note Folders options section.
New file/folder selection dialog code base implemented with much improved memory management implemented which will reduce the overall memory usage of the application. Additionally, problem with missing Up Folder button image on the folder selection dialog fixed.

Problem when deleting message items from the PocketBreeze Messages tab causing messages to show back again upon synchronization and rend/receive later on fixed.

Problem with some of the note file formats not opening using the correct corresponding installed application for this file format fixed.
Problem with certain MyList list files causing the Notes tab not to show fixed.
Default note file opening code handling moved to the main PocketBreeze dll instead of using the PIMHelper utility to speed up the opening of note files when using the default Notes application for the currently selected PIM.
Counter values display flipped to the other way around of the counter icon for better display layout.
When creating a new appointment or a new task from the Calendar tab context menu, the newly created item will be initialized based on the current displayed loaded day on the Calendar tab (unless if created from within a date grouping title), instead of creating the new item on Today's date as it used to work until now.
New search bar panel added on the Notes tab, allowing to easily locate note items on the Notes tab items by tapping the letters to search for within the tab.
Internal code change in the way storing different tabs information to make code more efficient and improved memory management.
Branding related problem as reported from several vendors fixed.
New combobox option to select the active search bar on the Notes tab General options section added.
Selecting the Edit Alphabets combobox item from within the Note options section will also open the active alphabets dialog. The active alphabets value is joint for all tabs that include the search panel (currently Contacts and Notes tabs).

Problem when trying to mark folders for scanning as checked folders back again not working fixed.
PB Options -> Notes -> Folders settings section re-designed from the beginning. List control listing all available folders replaced with a tree control presenting all of the optional folders for tracking including separation between My Documents folders and Storage card folders, allowing now also to disable tracking for the root folders and not only sub-folders and also defining different tracking rule for main memory compared to storage card folders.
Note folder options section won't present MyList folders anymore. When choosing to track MyList files all of MyList folders will be tracked automatically.
Note folder options section will now present the correct folder icon for each item on the tree control to create a more user-friendly interface for users.
When using the latest MyList version, MyList items will be presented with their selected icon within MyList on the Notes tab. When using an older MyList version MyList list items will be presented using a default list item icon.
Several additional smaller fixes and improvements related to the new features.

Problem with counter number caption not showing completely when there showing more than 3 digits in some cases fixed.
Problem with notes tab initial scanning placing audio notes as written notes fixed.
Problem when grouping notes by type placing different note types as audio notes is now fixed. Each note type is now presented in the correct note type grouping title.
Internal: All translation resources moved as part of the PB project and renamed to follow the same DLL file name structure for better internal organization.
Template items are now alphabetically sorted within the "Create from template" context menu for both Appointment templates and Task template items.
Problem with template items menu on the Notes tab not showing correctly the list of available template note items fixed.
Notes tab file changes tracking code improved to track changes much more efficiently. Will help improve note file changes tracking much faster with much less load on the device processor.
Support for MyList lists added on PocketBreeze Notes tab. Allowing to view your lists within the Notes tab and open them using MyList directly from the Today screen.
Sort Direction sub-menu added on the Notes tab context menu to set the sort direction of the current grouping and also a Sort direction sub-menu added within the Sort sub-menu to determine the internal sort-level direction for the current sort used within the grouping titles.
Problem with "Duplicate" context menu option creating a duplication of the file with the wrong file format fixed.
Rename/Move note dialog re-coded from the begining using a much more effecient and less memory consuming code. Will now handle correctly MyList lists compared to other note types. Will list only available folders within the currently active MyList folder as optional folders for MyList list files, and all other folders will be presented for different list file types.
Several older problems with the Rename/Move note dialog fixed.

New Color selection dialog implemented with new color picker dialog presenting a set of pre-defined colors, much smaller footprint due to resources cleanup and complete D-Pad navigation support within the new Color selection dialog version. Reducing the complete PocketBreeze foot print on the device.
Several changes specifically with branded versions compilation.
New Folders setting tab added on the Notes Options section, allowing the user to choose which folders to scan for notes and which folders not to scan. Available folders for scanning are all folders within the device My Documents folder and all one-level depth folders within any of the current storage cards on the device.
New code implemented on the Notes tab which will scan also for Text, Word and Excel files for the note lists on the Notes tab.

Counter position calculating code for all tabs optimized to keep all counter icon alignment on the same vertical line for a better display. The counter icon will be shifted automatically in rare situations where the counter value optimization preserved space is not enough for the counter value painting.
