| 1. | How can I add new channels to GoNews?
Enter GoNews main view and press the Menu button at the bottom right corner of the screen. Press the first option in the menu New Channel, this will open up the New Channel wizard that will guide you how to add new channels to GoNews using the different available options for adding new channels supported by GoNews.
GoNews offer several options for adding new channels. Complete information about each of the different options available when adding new channels can be found in the GoNews user manual available for download at the top of this page.

| 2. | How can I rename a channels?
From the main Channels view press the channel you wish to rename to enter this channel. Once you entered the Channel and reached the channel Articles View, press the right bottom Menu button and choose the Properties option.
Within the Properties screen you will find the option to rename the channel title to any custom title, regardless to the channel's web-site details.

| 3. | How do I enter GoNews Settings section?
From GoNews main view press the Menu button at the right bottom corner, this will open the main menu. From here, press the left bottom corner button to enter GoNews Settings.

| 4. | How can I check what GoNews version I'm using?
First enter GoNews settings. From the Settings display select the last option for About/Registration, this will take you to the About screen for GoNews, including the complete version and build details you are currently using.
When contacting our support team with any question it is best to include the complete version and build details you are currently using.

| 5. | I just purchased a license of GoNews and received my registration information. Where should I enter this information?
Your registration information should be entered within GoNews Registration dialog. Once you will enter the registration details within GoNews the 12 day trial limitation will be removed and you will be able to use GoNews without any limitations at all.
To enter GoNews Registration dialog you should enter GoNews Settings, the last option within the Settings view is the About/Registration option, entering this option will bring up the Registration dialog where you can input your registration details.
Please notice that if you already registered GoNews, the Registration option won't show up on the Settings section and instead only the About option will be available.

| 6. | I follow a lot of channels and my main channels view is crowded making it hard to locate a specific channel. Is there some way to manage my channels list more easily?
Yes. With GoNews you can create channel categories and organize all of your channels in different categories, this way, creating group of channels according to different topics such as: news, economy, sports etc.
From the main Channels View press the left bottom button. This will open up the Channel Categories selection dialog listing all currently available channel categories. Selecting one of the categories in this list will take you back to the main Channels view and will display only channels included in the newly selected category.
Pressing the left bottom button within the channel categories selection screen will take you to the categories configuration view where you can create, edit or delete your channel categories list.

| 7. | How can I scroll through the list of channels and articles? I can't see any scrollbar control on these views.
GoNews Touch uses our advanced Touch Scrolling technology controls that allow you to scroll through the list of channels or articles using finger scrolling instead of using the stylus for your scrolling. To scroll the list of items in the Channels View or Articles View simply place your finger on the list of items without releasing it and then swipe your finger up or down, this will scroll through the items with a smooth scrolling effect without having to use the stylus at all.
The Touch Scrolling is also used in the different GoNews menus where you can scroll through the list of items without using the stylus at all.
Although the regular operating system scroll bar is used within the individual article display view, the article display content can also be easily scrolled using a finger touch.

| 8. | My connection uses proxy. How can I configure GoNews to update content through the proxy connection?
Enter GoNews Settings and move to the Network option, here you will find an option to configure your proxy server details that will also be used by GoNews once configured. At this stage GoNews doesn't support password protected proxy servers.

The best way to learn more how GoNews works and how to use it is the GoNews user manual. The user manual can be downloaded by following the links provided for it at the top of this page.

| 10. | Where can I find more web-site channel templates for GoNews available for download?
GoNews supports templates that can be used to parse any web-site to GoNews Full-Text article and allow you to add any web-site at all to your GoNews channels, including web-sites without RSS feed option.
In addition to the built-in template samples shipped with GoNews, you can find more GoNews templates available for download from the GoNews Templates forum where users are sharing templates they created. The GoNews Templates forum can be found at the following link:
