|
| 1. | Can I use ContactBreeze with PocketBreeze?
ContactBreeze and PocketBreeze are two separate stand-alone applications that can run alone perfectly. Nevertheless, when using both on the same device you will enjoy special integration features that were implemented especially between the two applications.
|
| 2. | Pressing the keyboard multiple times cause all of my contacts to disappear, what am I doing wrong?
This behavior is related to the searching method used by ContactBreeze.
Contact searching with ContactBreeze is done using T9 Searching. T9 searching is a dynamic search method, used on most mobile phones. Each time you press one of the search buttons ContactBreeze will show all contacts including one of the pressed button letters. As you tap more letter keys, only contacts containing that sequence of letters will be presented. Locating a contact from a list of 500 contacts will usually require 3 taps using this method. The selected sequence of letters is highlighted on the contact name.
Due to this searching method, as you continue to press the keyboard letters your searching criteria continues to grow until the point all of your contacts are not qualified and the list of contacts becomes empty. Clicking the "Clear" button (marked with the sign: "<<") will delete the last letter from the searching string and therefore should be used to display your contacts list back again.
|
| 3. | To clear my search string I have to press the clear button multiple times, is there a faster way?
Yes. Pressing and holding the Clear button (marked with "<<") for two seconds will clear your searching string completely. Quickly double-clicking the Clear button will also do it.
|

|
| 6. | I just purchased a license of PocketBreeze and received my registration information. Where should I enter this information?

| 7. | What is the PIM Dialing feature?
Upon installation, ContactBreeze adds a new menu extension for your appointment and task items called "Dial Number". The new menu extension is visible through your Calendar and Tasks applications, allowing to easily dial or SMS to any of the embedded phone number strings that are included within the appointment or task subject, location or note fields. Using this special PIM Dialing extension you can easily initiate phone calls to numbers included within your appointments or tasks that are not necessarily part of your Contacts list, enhancing your Windows Mobile time management capabilities.
As an example, say you have an appointment with the following subject: "Meeting with David, 468-123-4567", when opening the new "Dial Number" context menu for this appointment you will find a new menu item including the phone number embedded in this appointment string: "468-123-4567". Selecting this menu item will initiate a phone call to this phone number. If multiple phone numbers are included in your appointment or task scanned fields then multiple menu items will show within the Dial Number menu, one for each phone number. The PIM Dialing feature scans the subject, location and note fields of your appointments and tasks.
|
| 8. | Can I use PIM Dialing with any PIM (Personal Information Manager) application?
The PIM Dialing feature is using a special Windows Mobile menu-extension interface. This means that any PIM application that supports the same interface properly will also have ContactBreeze's PIM Dialing feature showing within its context menu for appointments and tasks.
Some of the major PIMs that support PIM Dialing will be the default Calendar and Tasks applications that arrive with Windows Mobile by default, PocketBreeze, Pocket Informant, Agenda Fusion. Any additional PIM application that includes proper implementation of the Windows Mobile menu-extensions interface will also have the PIM Dialing menu showing properly with it.
