SafeWallet Password Manager for iPhone and iPadI couldn’t be more excited to announce today’s new iOS SafeWallet update! Although it’s a sub-point update, today’s update adds some of the most frequently asked features you’ve all been asking for and we sure hope you’ll find it a great addition to the day you’re using SafeWallet on a daily basis!

With today’s new update you’ll find awesome new Clipboard support that lets you cut, copy and paste cards within your wallet, plus, a new Backup Tool that creates well organized backups of your wallet that you can easily store outside of your iPhone/iPad in a secure and fully encrypted manner!

Like all our updates, SafeWallet users can grab the new update for free from the App Store. The new update is available for download via the App Store app on your iPhone.

If you’re still not using SafeWallet be sure to check it out today at the App Store.

Without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at the new version features! :)

iOS SafeWallet v2.2.2 Highlights

SafeWallet Password Manager for iOS - Clipboard Support1. Clipboard Support – Using the new SafeWallet Clipboard you can easily move cards between different folders and duplicate existing cards – in cases that you’d like to create new cards from an existing one. These are probably the most frequently requests we’ve been receiving from our iOS SafeWallet users these days and we definitely hope that this feature will make SafeWallet tons easier to use! :)

To open up the new clipboard menu simply long-press any of your cards in the Wallet tab. This will open a popup menu you can use to cut or copy this card. Once a card was copied to the clipboard, another long press on any card of folder in your wallet will offer also include the paste option, so you can easily paste your copied card anywhere you’d like!

Long-pressing a folder offers two options:  (a) Paste – pastes the copied card in the current folder, and (b) Paste In Folder – pastes the copied card inside the currently selected folder.

The implementation was designed to be as simple as possible from the users’ point of view, yet it brings great new capabilities that should really make iOS SafeWallet a lot more powerful!

SafeWallet Password Manager for iOS Backup Tool2. Backup Tool – The new Backup Tool is specifically designed and useful for those who use SafeWallet solely on their iPhone or iPad, without syncing it with our SafeWallet for PC. Such users usually had no way of getting their wallet outside of their iOS device, which puts their wallet content at risk – not a risk of getting cracked (since it is always encrypted), but, at risk of getting loosing their data if their phone is broken and they might have no way to restore their wallet.

This new nifty utility comes to solve this situation for all those users (of course it can also be used by users who sync with their PC and would like to backup their wallet). Using this new tool you can email your wallet file to yourself, including restore instructions, creating backups of your wallet file very quickly. Using this tool users can have a clear mind knowing they can always restore their wallet securely. Of course the backup files sent by this tool are fully encrypted and secure.

3. Font Size – New font size setting added with SafeWallet for iPhone. Customize the font size used with the wallet content views, helping you customize your passwords display for optimal use and layout. The new setting can be found within Main view -> Tools -> Settings.

4. iPhone 3.1.3 Crash Fixed – With the latest version we had a crash when trying to use SafeWallet on older iPhone 3.1.3 devices. We’re really sorry about that bug and it is now fixed with the new version! :) Once updating to the new version simply launch SafeWallet and everything should work smoothly.

5. iPhone 3.1.3 Auto-Lock optimized – The second minor change fixes a minor security flew that affected only users with older iPhone 3.1.3 devices (basically iPhone devices before multi-tasking was available). With previous versions, your wallet wouldn’t automatically lock when the screen is switched off (either automatically or by pressing the power button). As an extra security measure this is now fixed, making sure your wallet locks with your iPhone!

6. Setting Values Display – When entering Settings, the labels showing the values of selection-box settings were missing. This issue is now fixed and selection-box settings now displays the currently selected value to the right side of the setting name, making it easier to review your current configuration when customizing SafeWallet.

I’ve tried to change the font in version 2.2.3 but I see no change.
Has anyone else tried this option and found out it works as intended
