Using the new SafeWallet Chrome extension, SafeWallet users enjoy a secure and simple browsing experience with awesome features such as automatic form-filling, secure wallet session that protects your logins, cross-platform and cross-browser syncing of your logins, including to your mobile device and much more!

Much like our IE SafeWallet & Firefox SafeWallet, the new Chrome SafeWallet is also packed as part of the SafeWallet for Windows installer, so when installing today’s new SafeWallet for Windows release you will be presented with a new option to install also SafeWallet Chrome extension.

With this new addition, you can keep your logins in sync and enjoy automatic password filling while browsing between even more devices & browsers! SafeWallet for Windows v2.4 with Chrome Extension

SafeWallet Chrome Extension – The new SafeWallet Chrome extension release comes as part of today’s new SafeWallet for Windows release, v2.4. With this new extension, Chrome users can start enjoying the same set of features that our Firefox and IE users have been enjoying with our SafeWallet IE and SafeWallet Firefox extensions who have already been released in previous months. Supporting new browsers is part of our objectives in an effort to give users the freedom of choice in the browsers market, and yet continue and enjoy their online identities regardless to which browser you use.

The Chrome extension works much like our Firefox and IE extension. As such, we decided it will be better to keep this post shorter for those who are already familiar with SafeWallet existing browser extensions. If you haven’t used any of our browser extensions before, you are invited to read more about it at SafeWallet Firefox extension release, or, SafeWallet IE extension release. Both released recently and describe the same set of features the new SafeWallet Chrome brings.

SafeWallet for Windows Improvements and Fixes – As always, the new SafeWallet for Windows client also includes several fixes and improvements. Most of our focus with this new release was on the new Chrome plug-in so there aren’t any ground-breaking changes on the Windows client front. Among the improvement and fixes with the new Windows client:

1. Registration bug on machines with locale including special characters (such as umlauts/Arabic/Turkish/Hebrew etc.) fixed.

2. Registration and Welcome wizard dialogs display problems when used on machines with DPI higher than the default 96 DPI.

3. SafeWallet installer now sealed by Verisign – providing another security layer to help users verify the integrity of our installer.

4. Fixed bug with SafeWallet for Windows loosing focus after editing a card, opening field editor and exiting back all the way from the card editor. Focus will now stay on SafeWallet main application as it should.

There are a few other small code level and improvements included with this new SafeWallet for Windows version release.
